Marion was a graduate of Texas Christian University. She was an elementary school teacher. She married Altha Morton Stewart on Dec. 20, 1955 at her Aunt's home - 2028 Wilshire Blvd., Fort Worth, TX. Al was an Air Force Intelligence officer and they traveled the world together and had four children.
Marion died of metastatic lung cancer and donated her body to the SW Medical School in Dallas (so did Al when he died of pancreatic cancer in 2004) After their cremains were returned to the family their youngest child and only son, Steven spread their remains on a glacier in Alaska as they had asked.
