Amherst- Sept. 12- Edward Barkley, 68, died suddenly at the dinner table last evening at five o'clock at the home of his sisters, Mrs. James Hamel, North Ridge Road, with whom he resided.
Mr. Barkley was born and lived his entire life in Amherst. he was a member of the Maccabees.
Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Hamel, and two brothers, Albert and John Barkley, both of Amherst.
Funeral rites will be held from the Hamel home at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Kenneth Kuntz, pastor of the Congregational church of Amherst, will officiate and burial will be in Crownhill cemetery.
