Lorain-Mrs. Martha Barber, 81, of 2220 13th St., died Saturday noon in St. John's Hospital. She was a former teacher in the Lorain County and Lorain City Schools.
Mrs. Barber was born in Amherst and came to Lorain about 37 years ago. She was a member of the Christian Science Church and Queen City Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. Survivors are a daughter, Mary Elizabeth of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Donald Small, Mercer Island, Wash., and two nephews, Donald Small, Mercer Island and Frederick Fey Lakewood.
A Christian Service will be conducted at the Schwartz Home for funerals tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery, Amherst.
