Mrs. Vetta S. Anthony, 95, a native of Russia Township, died yesterday morning at Tressie's Nursing Home, Oberlin, after a short illness.
Mrs. Anthony had lived the past 20 years with a sister in law, Mrs. Ethel Schubert, 45225 Telegraph Rd., after moving here from Evansville, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband J. William Anthony, four brothers and a sister.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Elsie S. Whiton of Oberlin.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home, Amherst, where the funeral will be at 3 p.m.. The Rev. Robert A. Happel, pastor of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Amherst, will officiate. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
