Amherst-William Robert Schmitkons, 15-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Schmitkons, 578 Middle Ridge Rd., Lorain, died yesterday at 11:20 a.m. in St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, following a brief illness. The baby was born in Amherst Feb. 3, 1957.
Survivors besides the parents are three brothers, James, Thomas and John, all at home and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Baumann, Henrietta.
Friends will be received at the Garland Funeral Home this evening. Funeral services will be in the funeral home tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Gail Bergstresser, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Crown Hill Cemetery.
