GROVES - Lester A. Williams, 83, of Groves died Tuesday at Park Place Medical Center.
A native of Brownstown, Ill., he lived in Groves and Port Arthur for 45 years. He was a retired supervisor from Texaco, a member of Great Light Lodge No. 1064 A.F. & A.M.,D.A.V. and O.C.A.W.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Stephen McCrate officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. visitation was Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Bell; two sisters, Dorothy Elder and Bell Durbin, both of Vandalil, Ill.; andseven stepchildren.
