ARTESIA-- Eusebio J. "Sam" Leyba Jr., 45, of South 2nd Street, died Sunday, June 30, 1996, at Artesia General Hospital.
Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Terpening & Sons Chapel.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace Church with Father John Curran officiating. Burial will be at San Marcos Cemetery.
Terpening & Son Mortuary Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1950 to Eusebio and Josephine Jiminez Leyba Sr. in Artesia.
He was a life long resident of Artesia. He was employed as a cook.
Mr. Lebya was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Amelia Morales and Esmeralda Quiroz.
Survivors include his parents, Eusebio and Josephine Leyba of Artesia; brothers, Adolfo Leyba of Artesia, Davie Leyba of Rolla, Mo.; sisters Manuela Saiz of Carlsbad and Lucy Leyba of Artesia.
Pallbearers are Carlos Leyba III, Manuel Salcido, Bobby Garcia, Alex Briseno, Tony Garcia.
