House Built Over Graveyard::::A jury awarded $142,000.00 to a couple whose house was built over a graveyard but decided that a real estate developer did not intend to mislead the homebuyers. The jury award includes $115,000.00 for mental anguish. The Haneys say they have suffered since discovering two bodies in their backyard in 1963 during a swiming pool instalation. My heart tells me that finally people will know that Black Hope cemetery existed. These are people that were born slaves and were lost for a long time. I think that is really sad said Mrs.Hanney.
