Richard Dale Qualls, age 70 years, of Goodman, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Richard was born on April 26, 1942 in Pineville, Missouri to the late, John Wesley and Lovie Louise (Creamer) Qualls. He had lived all of his life in McDonald County. Richard married Mary Irene Jordon on July 12, 1960 in Miami, Oklahoma and to this union two children were born. He was an avid reader, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended the Living Word Mission Church at Simco, Missouri.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Wesley Qualls and a sister, Charlotte Qualls.
He is survived by his loving wife, Irene Qualls of the home; a son, Richard Lee Qualls and wife, Jackie of Goodman, Missouri; a daughter, Audrey Rickman and her significant other, Kyle Johnson of Racine, Missouri; a brother, Ronnie Charles Qualls of Noel, Missouri; a sister, Charlene Champagyne of Covington, Louisiana; nine grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Richard.
Funeral services for Richard Qualls will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Reverend Billy Jo Gentry will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery, near Stella, Missouri. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at this time.
