David was a soloist in the choir of Longview Heights Baptist Church, a graduate of the University of Memphis, and a loyal University of Memphis Tiger fan for many, many years.
David loved Southern Gospel Music, all sports, and his friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Toombs, his Uncle Johnny and Aunt Thelma McClure, several cousins, and his dog Pepper.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 10 at Forest Hill South. Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Longview Heights Baptist Church with graveside service to follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
