Vernon Churchill Services held June 21st
Memorial services were held Wednesday for Vernon E. Churchill who died June 17th. Rev. Jack Countryman officiated with services held at Stickel Chape1.
Born Nov. 10, 1923 in Westfield, Mass., he served in the U.S. Navy from Dec. 4, 1942 to Jan. 17, 1946. The family moved to Mojave in 1957 when Mr. Churchill went to work for Lockheed as a security guard.
Survivors include his wife Tina, daughter Linda, two sons, Bill and Frank, all of Mojave and a brother in Westfield, Mass.
Interment was in Mojave District Cemetery.
