F. Leonard Horn, 75, of Carson City, died Dec 23, 2002 at Gratiot Community Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1927, in Gratiot County, the son of Walter and Mary Warner Horn.

Leonard married Norma Jean Ross on April 7, 1950, in Carson City. He served in the U,S, Army during World War II.

He retired as an electrican from Fisher Body in Lansing. He was a member of the Sheridan VFW, Carson City United Methodist Church, and he loved to work with his hands,

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Horn and Mary G. Wood; son, Douglas Horn; brother. Jim Horn.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Horn, of Carson City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Cathy Horn of Alma, Brian and Deb Horn of DeWitt; daughter, Karen Belt of Charlotte; six grandchildren, Mary and Andrew Horn of Alma, Jeff, Jacob and Jamie Horn of DeWitt, Jason and Carrie Belt of Pontiac; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Marilyn Horn of Ithaca, Raymond Horn of Stanton; sister-in-law, Lois Horn of Holt.

Funeral services were Dec. 27 at Carson City United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ken Nash officiating. Interment is in Carson City Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carson City United Methodist Church building fund.
