Mrs. Mertie Rosborough

Mrs. Mertie Rosborough, 92, of Indiana RD 1 (Shelocta), widow of Newton Rosborough, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 2, 1966) at her home.

She was born Nov. 24, 1873 in Plumcreek Twp., a daughter of Samuel and Susie Miller Calhoun.

Mrs. Rosborough was a member of Elderton United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Wissinger of Elderton; Miss Bertha Calhoun of Indiana RD 1 and Mrs. Roy (Rose) Sharp of Star Route, Apollo; one brother, James Calhoun of Shelocta and a number of nieces and nephews.

ROSBOROUGH -- Friends of Mrs. Mertie Rosborough of Indiana RD 1 (Shelocta), who died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 2, 1966), will be received at Clarence P. Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. C. Vincent Wilson and Rev. William S. Merwin, D.D., officiating. Burial will take place in Elderton Cemetery. Arrangements by Clark.
