WANDA ONETA LAIL HENSON
GRANITE FALLS- Wanda Oneta Lail Henson,76, of Rhodhiss, passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Lutheran Home Hickory West.
She was born April 17, 1934, in Caldwell County to the late John Marvin Lail and Katie Lee Gilbert Helton Lail.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lee Henson; four sisters, Ruth Campbell, Emer Yates, Pearl Helton and Irene Helton; and four brothers, Gus Helton, Dwight Helton, Ernest Lail and John Lail.
Mrs. Henson was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Teague and husband, Danny, of Rhodhiss; two sons, Donald Ball of Raleigh and Ricky L. Ball Sr. of Caldwell County; one brother, Ralph Lail of Wadesboro; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at 2p.m. in the Bass-Smith Granite chapel, with Rev. Leo Fair officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sunset Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at Bass-Smith Granite.
