Preceded in death by his parents, Genie & Mattie Shepherd, daughter, Vanessa Shepherd, grandson, Darren Moore, five sisters and four brothers. A retiree of General Motors. Survivors include son, Jamil A. Rahman; 2 daughters, Cynthia Moore & Dianna Shepherd; brother, Ezekiel (Everlena) Shepherd. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 2262 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Sylvester Walker officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00 Noon - 1:00 P.M. Interment West Memory Gardens.
