Military 1775- 1783 Age: 25 Bucks Co, Colony of PA Private - CAPT. HENRY DARROCH, MILITIA - 3rd Company, 3rd Battalion, Pennsylvania Militia. This unit became the 4th Regiment, Pennsylvania Line Infantry.

George is reputed to be the son of Michael Bossert of Germany. He married Rachel Godshalk in 1779 in Montegomery PA.

He is known to have died in Northampton County PA.

He and Rachel are reported to have had 13 children, some of whom are below.

Burial site is suppositional. This Lutheran cemetery used to be Old Mennonite Cemetery.
