Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Waymond and Gladys Louise Babb Jackson. He was a Vietnam War veteran of the US Army and was employed with Suttles Trucking.
Survivors: daughters, Deborah (John) Cureton of Greenville, Randi (William) Howard of Duncan, and Sommer (Timothy) Harris of Mauldin; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
