Died 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995, in White Castle. He was 76, a native and resident of White Castle. He was a retired pipe fitter with Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 198. Visiting was held at Ourso Funeral Home, White Castle, 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Visiting at the funeral home 8 to 10:45 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Monday, celebrated by the Rev. Myles Kearney. Interment in White Castle Cemetery. Survived by wife, Doris Daigle Leonard, White Castle: two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Ronald Dupuy, White Castle, Lynette Leonard, Pierre Part, and Jimmy Ourso, Donaldsonville; a daughter-in-law, Linda Leonard, White Castle; a son, Cedric Leonard, Bell Buckle, Tenn.;four sisters, Lurline Waldrep, California, Wilma Hymel, Des Allemands, Bernice Hymel and Loretta Poche, both of White Castle; a brother, Perrine Leonard, White Castle; 25 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Dorceno and Zoe Bolotte Leonard; two daughters, Malinda L. Ourso and Doris Leonard; two sons, Leslie Jr. and David Leonard; and a brother, Benny Leonard. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
