Levi Lincoln Cooper, son of William Newton Cooper and Elizabeth W. Rainwater, married 31 December 1893 in Jack Co., TX, USA, to Sarah Adeline Pitzer, daughter of James Harrison Pitzer and Lydia E. Bowman. Levi and Sarah had three children:
Sarah Edith Cooper,
Anna Ruth Cooper, and
Ralph Raymond Cooper.

Services for Levi Lincoln Cooper, 77, were held at Post Oak Baptist Church officiated by the pastor, Rev. T.H. Mayfield and assisted by Rev. R.L. Swanner.

Mr. Cooper moved to Texas with his parents in 1879 settling first at Collin County. In 1880, the family moved to Jack County.

In 1890, Mr. Cooper united with the Post Oak Baptist Church. He was a member of the Hopeful Missionary Baptist Church until its organization disbanded in 1902 when he joined the Silver Hill Baptist Church.

Survived by two daughters - Mrs. Edith Scarber and Mrs. Ruth Lemond; one sister - Mrs. Ressa Brothers; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
