FRANK M. HANES
Mr. Frank Marion Hanes, 64 years old, who for many years was sexton of St. John’s Independent Methodist Church and Clark Memorial Church, died yesterday morning of paralysis at the home of his nephew, Mr. George W. Shields, 2462 York road.
Mr. Hanes left his home, 2708 Boone street, Thursday afternoon to visit his nephew. About 5 o’clock P. M. he was stricken with paralysis of the brain and died yesterday morning at 9 o’clock.
Mr. Hanes was born in Baltimore. For 25 years he acted as sexton of St. John’s Independent Methodist Church and Clark Memorial Church, Twenty-seventh and St. Paul streets. Mr. Hanes was a member of Alpha Lodge, Independent Order of Heptasophs. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Maggie F. Hanes.
The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will be at Loudon Park Cemetery.
