BYRAM --- Jake Shaw, 83, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, in Byram.
Mr. Shaw was a native of Hancock County and a former resident of Gulfport. He was retired from Mississippi Power Co. and was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport. He was a Mason and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma E. Shaw.
Survivors include a son, Dale Shaw of Madison; and a grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Gulfport directed by Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport.
