Doris Ann Blankenship, age 70, of Williamson, WV, formerly of Sprigg, departed this life on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at the Williamson, WV Memorial Hospital. A daughter of the late Clarence and Stella McCoy Rutherford, Doris was born February 14, 1942 in Mingo County, WV.
She was also preceded in death by
her son, Carly Rutherford;
brothers, Larry, Glen, Darrell and Jack Rutherford.
In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and neighbor, Doris was a homemaker.
She is survived by her
daughters, Carmella Kinder of Matewan, WV, Angela Gooslin and Kelley Blankenship both of Ransom, KY;
brothers, Bobby, Dave, Jimmy and Charles Rutherford; sisters, Peggy Wolford and Donna Pruitt;
grandchildren, Christina Moore, Charles Kinder II, Mandy Cullop, Jacob Gooslin and Jasmine Kinder;
great grandchildren, Azaria Moore, Ethan Ratliff, Joseph Kinder, Bailey Cullop and Liam Kinder.
