Travis O'dell Shepherd Travis O'dell Shepherd, 63, of Austin passed away on December 23, 2012. He was born July 19, 1949 in Waco, Texas.

Travis graduated from A.J. Moore High School in Waco, Texas in 1967. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968 and served for 2 years. He was united with Christ at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church in Waco.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O'dell and Mildred Shepherd, and two brothers, Paxton, and Jerome.

He is survived by his wife, Theodora Shepherd; two sisters, Willie Mae Wait and Sylvia Glynn; and aunts, uncles, and one special friend Jimmy Ridge, with many other relatives and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening, on Tuesday, the 8th of January 2013, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.

A graveside service with US Army Honors will be held at twelve o'clock, noon, on Wednesday, the 9th of January 2013, in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.cookwaldenfuneralhome.com
