Services For F. L. Warnaca
Funeral services for Fred L. Warnaca, 77, were held at the Stickel Mortuaries Chape1 in Mojave on August 27.
Mr. Warnaca was born in Little Rock Arkansas on Sept. 8, 1896, and passed away in a Tehachapi Hospital on August 23. He made his home at 1780 Barstow Rd. in Mojave.
He had lived in California for 34 years, and in Kern County for the past 25 years. For 13 years before his retirement, he was a deputy weighmaster and security guard at the Monolith Cement plant. He was a member of the American Assoc. of Retired Persons, Mojave Chapter 810.
He is survived by his wife, Lena, at the home; a son, Harold C. Warnaca, Superior Ariz.; a daughter, Dorotha, Big Bear; a sister, Virgie Tierce, El Cajon; three grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
The Rev. Clay Myhan, First Baptist Church in Mojave, officiated at the 10:30 a.m. services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery. Pallbearers were Grant Frye, William McBryant, Henry Myhan, Herb Henson, Glenn Henson, Sr., and Glenn Henson, Jr.
