Miss Ruth Hellen Clippinger, 68, 3926Beech Street, Mariemont, former teacher, died Monday at Christ Hospital. She was a teacher at Hughes High School for 30 years before her retirement about 10 years ago. She had been chairman of the advanced English department and faculty supervisor of publications at Hughes. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, University of Cincinnati chapter; Literary Society and Great Books Club.
She is survived by her brother, John H. Clippinger, Cincinnati lawyer; four nieces and four nephews.
A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Mariemont Community Church.
