Annette Ann Turner, 50 life long resident of King City passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Mee Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE is scheduled, 11am, Friday, January 11, 2013 at King City District Cemetery.

Annette was born October 27, 1962 in King City. She was one of the first twins born at the newly constructed George L. Mee Memorial Hospital in King City. She attended King City schools and graduated from King City High School in 1980. She was a past member of Girls Scouts of America, King City 4H and King City FFA. She was an active member of the Free Will Baptist Church Group in Greenfield.

Annette worked as a caregiver and recently had been caring for her grandmother. She enjoyed crafts, making jewelry and spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren. She was a fantastic cook. Family was important to her. She looked forward to getting together with her family for BBQ's, family gatherings and playing Pedro. She especially liked playing cards when she could beat her brother. Annette loved people.

Annette is survived by her husband, James B. Turner; son, Jacob M. Viau; step-children, James Turner Jr. and Jessica L. Turner; grandchildren, Bradly Viau and Nevaeh Viau; step grandchildren, Mason Turner and Jesse J. Palumbo; mother, Dora Cochran; twin sister, Jannette (John) LeBlanc; brother, Chuck (Kim) Cochran; grandmother, Atha Sportsman; mother-in-law, Babbie Turner; uncles, Gail (Martha) Sportsman and John (Debbie) Sportsman; numerous additional aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Annette is preceded in death by her father, Charles Cochran; son, Blake Viau; Grandfather Howard Sportsman and her aunt, Ann Hicks.
