Vera Mae HARDY, 93, of Perryton, died January 05, 2013.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, January 08, at Community Worship Center with Elder Gail Faries and Elder Scott Bass officiating. Burial was in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

She was born February 14, 1919 in Hohenwald, Tennessee, and married J. Paul HARDY on April 06, 1941 in Perryton. He died in 2007.

She was a member of the Friendly Circle Home Extension Club for over 60 years, receiving numerous awards including Homemaker of the Year. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Larry HARDY of Perryton; one daughter, Grace Hardy SHIPMAN of Amarillo; on brother, Billy HINSON of Nashville, Tennessee; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Ochiltree General Hospital Hospice Volunteers, 3101 Garrett, Perryton.
