Debra Jean Davidson

Debra Jean Davidson, 54, of Dothan passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Keener Batchelor officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davidson was born May 7, 1958 in Valparaiso, IN and lived the early part of her life in Sarasota, FL. She moved to the Dothan area when she was 12 years old and attended Cottonwood and Rehobeth High Schools. She received her cosmetology degree from Riley Business College and was a homemaker. She also received a ministry certificate and ran an outreach program for several years. Debra was a member of New Life Church.

Survivors include her husband James "Jimmy" Davidson of Dothan; sons, Blake Stephen Warfield of Dothan, Jared Dean Davidson of Dothan, and James Patrick (Karen) Davidson of Dothan; two grandchildren Harley Elizabeth Davidson and Jimmy Paige Davidson; her parents, Edward and Dolores Warfield of Cottonwood; a brother Richard (Mary) Warfield of Bay Minette, AL; a sister Sherry (Michael) Martin of Dothan; several nieces and nephews including Tammy Burlingham and Tim Burlingham; special uncles and an aunt, Bud and Frances Burlingham, and Devon Burlingham.
