Nov 15, 1946 - Jan 3, 2013 MUSTANG Jessie Lenita Sims, age 66, died Thursday, January 3, 2013, in an Oklahoma City Hospital. She was born on November 15, 1946, in Purcell, Oklahoma, to Jessie B. & Lenora L. (Stevenson) Perry. She grew up in Wayne, OK and was a graduate of Wayne High School. She moved to Mustang in the early 1970s and was a longtime employee of the State of Oklahoma, retiring in 1997 from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol as a secretary. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, George. Survivors include her mother, Lenora, of Wayne; a daughter, Terri Lamkin and husband Lance, of Mustang; two sons: Mike Sims, of Mustang; and Bart Sims and wife Tiffani, of Yukon; also seven grandchildren and six-1/2 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ann Rowell, of Sulphur; Marie Fore and husband Garland, of Durant; two brothers: Hank Perry and wife LeaAnn, of Lexington; and Ira Perry, of Wayne. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013, at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City, under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
