George M. Barbadora, 94, of Alpha, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, in Warren Hospital.

Born: April 25, 1908, in Mondavio, Italy, a son of the late Achille and Amelia Bevilacqua Barbadora.

Personal: He and his wife, the former Kathleen A. Lehr, celebrated 72 years of marriage this past April 26.

He was a maintenance engineer in Atlantic States Foundry in Phillipsburg for over 40 years until retiring in 1971.

Memberships: He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alpha, where he was married 72 years ago, and where he was a trustee for over 50 years.

He was a member of the Golden Age Club of the church and a member of the SIM Club, also in Alpha.

He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.
