Born in Newport N.C. on August 19, 1912, Mr. Taylor was the son of the late James Allen Taylor and Sally Ann Smith Taylor. He retired as a millwright for International Paper Company after 43 years of service
Mr. Taylor was a member of Duncan United Methodist Church and the Quarter Century Club of International Paper Company. Mr Taylor was also a member and past Master of winyah Lodge 40, Ancient Freemasons, and a member of Omar Shriner Temple in Charleston SC.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne P. Taylor and Daniel R. Taylor of Georgetown, a daughter, Jeannie T. Merritt of Georgetown. Two brothers, Harry Taylor and Tom Taylor both of Newport N.C., A sister, Vivian T Piner of Swansboro N.C. Eleven Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held at 1am Dec 7, 190 at the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens with the rev. George R. Cannon officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow.
