Margaret J. I. F. Boswell (Jane Isabella Floyd) was the youngest child of Rev. John Boswell & his wife Isabella Floyd. She was born in 1833 soon after her parents made the move from South Carolina where her father had been a member of the S. C. Conference from 1810-1826. Her known siblings (as mentioned in her father's will) were Dr. Thomas Coke Boswell, Francis Asbury Boswell, and John Wesley Boswell.
She married Chappel Gray 6 Feb 1855 in Pike County, Alabama and they moved to Texas soon after. She died at the age of 29 with only one sibling surviving her, her husband, and her children.
