Her second husband was Alvin Hayes (1895-1940) and third husband was Walter Thomas Peters (1910 – 1956).
In the early years of living in Monterey, CA, she raised and sold rabbits for meat. She liked to cook and garden. The front of her house on Lily St. was planted with many calla lillies which grew to 3-4 ft high.
In 1973 two of her "bucket list" wishes were granted by one of her granddaughters; a trip to Disneyland ("A Small World" made her cry) and a fishing trip on the ocean (she got seasick).
Rest in peace, Grandma, you are missed.
