Shirley Ann Figgins, 76, of Charles Town, WV, formerly of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Figgins was born September 20, 1936 in Charles Town, WV, daughter of Robert and Cora Redmon Smallwood. She was the wife of the late Ollie L. Figgins, Sr.
Surviving are one son, Ollie L. Figgins, Jr. of Charles Town, WV; one daughter, Zebbie Boutchyard of Fredericksburg, VA; her special companion, Albert Talton; four brothers, Robert Smallwood of South Carolina, Charles Smallwood of The Philippines, Marshall Smallwood and Rodney Smallwood, both of Charles Town, WV; two sisters, Ollie Marie Getts and Leah Rose, both of Charles Town, WV; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Figgins and Herbert Figgins.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Waters and Mark Waters.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
