Mass of Christian Burial for Patsy Ellis Walter, age 55 of Muenster is set for 10:00 AM Saturday. A Rosary/Vigil service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday. All services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Services are celebrated by Rev. Ken Robinson and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.

Mrs. Walter died after a lengthy illness at 12:40 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

Born November 14, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas, Patsy was one of the 5 children of Clarence Cannon and Mary Frances Ellis.

She was the mother of 2 boys, from her first marriage, later marrying Chris J. Walter. They were married on August 4, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This marriage then added 3 more children into her life. Chris and Patsy later adopted Trevor, "the light of her life." She was the grandmother of 8. They were her pride and joy and she really loved having them around.

Patsy loved camping, riding jet skis and traveling. She was happiest when visiting and partying with her family and friends. Patsy became a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 2007. She had worked at Weber Aircraft for 28 years, retiring only after her health failed.

Patsy's survivors include: her husband, Chris J. Walter, of Muenster; her step-daughters: Michelle and husband Brian Bednorz of Keller and Jennifer and husband Shane Clark of Keller; her step-son: Mike and wife Melissa Walter of Muenster, Trevor Walter of Muenster, her sons: Mark Dale Robison of Gainesville, and Don Lynn Robison of Gainesville; her mother: Mary Frances Abernathy of Gainesville; eight grandchildren; her sisters: Mary Ruth Blakely of Sanger, TX, and Emma Louise Galbreath of Gainesville; and her brothers: Rodger Dale Ellis of Thackerville, OK and Kenneth Ray Ellis of Thackerville, OK.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Cannon Ellis.

Pallbearers were: Charles Blakely, Fred Ellis, Paul Walker, Matthew Bednorz, Terry Riley, and Nate Robison.
The family requests memorials be made to: Sacred Heart Trust Fund or The American Cancer Society.
