Born June 18, 1936, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie Pearre Rippeon. She was the wife of the late James W. Hudson Jr., who died in 2007.
She was a school bus contractor in Howard County for more than 30 years, in addition to being a homemaker and the wife of a farmer. She enjoyed going to yard sales, camping, traveling and especially playing cards with her family and friends.
Surviving are son and fiance James W. Hudson, III and Kristina Primoff, of West Friendship; daughters and sons-in-law Vanessa and Mark McNeill, of Woodbine; Teresa and Gary Stonesifer and Denise Dixon, all of West Friendship; sister Helen M. Thomas, of Sykesville; and grandchildren Eric Stonesifer, Jen Schwartz and husband Kevin; Jason McNeill and Cody and Samantha Dixon.
She was predeceased by brother Robert Rippeon Jr.
