Funeral services for Mrs. Gene Sowell McKitrick, 58, who died in her residence, 2918 Frankfort Street, Friday morning, will be held in Barry Hagedon chapel at 4 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. DuBose Murphy officiating.
She had been a resident of El Paso over 30 years and is survived by her husband, K.S. McKitrick, El Paso; one daughter, Mrs. Lyda Mae Williams, and one granddaughter, Joan Elizabeth Williams, both of El Paso; parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Sowell, Safford Ariz.; five sisters, Mrs. Iva Varnon of Reno, Nev.; Mrs. Maud Hoopes, of Safford; Mrs. Bernice Kingsberg, of Austin, Texas; Mrs. Velda Mae Floyd, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Martin, Albuquerque, N.M.; three brothers, Perry L. Sowell, Ft. Worth, Texas; Alfred H. Sowell, Coolridge, Ariz., and Sam A Sowell, Tucson, Ariz.
Pallbearers will be Frank Saner, Hugh Finley, M.A. Golly, Guy Cummings, Lack Devel, and Ewing Graham. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
