Their mortal remains were laid to rest in the Wenksville Cemetery, Wenksville, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
Daniel B. Meals was christened on April 14, 1822 in Benders Church, Biglerville, Adams County, Pennsylvania.

Wilhemina Sickels died, at age 84, on November 29, 1932, in Peoria County, Illinois and her mortal remains were laid in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois on December 2, 1932, in Peoria County, Illinois.

2. Jeremiah Meals, born c. 1849/50 in Pennsylvania; believed to have died young, most likely in Pennsylvania.

3. Mary Ann Meals, born c. 1851/52 in Pennsylvania; married 1st to Henry Young on June 19, 1874 in Knox County, Illinois; married 2nd to W. A. Kaicks on May 7, 1884 in Gage County, Nebraska.

4. Amelia Meals, born c. 1852/53 in Pennsylvania.

5. Lucy Alice Meals, born July 29, 1856 in Peoria County, Illinois; Lucy was married to Jacob Harshbarger on June 4, 1875 in Knox County, Illinois; Lucy died on January 22, 1941 in Peoria Heights, Illinois and her earthly remains buried in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
Sometime between 1852 and 1855, Daniel and Rebecca took their family west to Illinois, where they settled in Peoria County. They are found in the 1855 census of Peoria County. At the time of the 1860 census the Meals family is found in Rosefield Township in Peoria County;
