A. Marie (Constien) Shank, 86, of Manor Twp., was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at home. She was the wife of the late Harry G. Shank, Jr., who died on January 31, 1986.

Marie had retired from housekeeping at Millersville University and worked for many years for the Berger family.

Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Katherine (Dommel) Constien. She was the foster daughter of the late John B. and Annie (Thomas) Harnish. Marie attended Mt. Hope School, a One-Room Schoolhouse. She was a member of the River Corner Mennonite Church, Conestoga and a former member of the Byerland Mennonite Church, Willow Street.

Surviving are three children, Robert E. married to Tess (Kurtz) Shank, of Denver, twin daughters, Diane M. Moore and Donna L. married to Jon Aspril, all of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Groff, of Terre Hill and two half siblings in VA. She was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel L. Shank and D. David Shank, (2006).

Funeral Services will be held at the Byerland Mennonite Church, 931 Byerland Church Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 10AM (Viewing 9-10AM). Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial Remembrances may be made in Marie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
