McGUIRE Angela A. McGuire, age 88, a native and life-long resident of Mobile, passed away January 3, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Ludlow and Alberta Alexander McGuire, Sr., and her sister, Dorothy McGuire Clothier. She is survived by her brother, Frank L. McGuire, Jr., and nephews David (Catherine) Clothier and his son Richard, Frank "Trippy" (Margaret) McGuire III and his daughters Natalie and Jan, and Brian (Jean) McGuire and his sons Adam and Andrew, and other family and friends. A lifetime member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Angela was active in the community, serving on several volunteer boards and as a member of two Mardi Gras societies. She retired from Cooper Stevedoring Co. (now Cooper-T Smith), having worked with three generations of the family-owned company. Services were held January 7 at St. John's Episcopal Church, followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Heard officiated. Pall bearers were Richard Clothier, Bob Jones, David Jones, Jerry Jones, Paul Jones, Roy Jones, Billy Laubenthal and Marion Laubenthal. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. John's Episcopal Church, 1707 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama 36604.
