A resident of Lucedale, she was a retired mail carrier and a member of the Baptist faith. She died June 12, 2003.
She is survived by her three sons, Les (Angie) Cooper of Lucedale, Gary (Michelle) Cooper of Semmes, AL and Kenneth Cooper of Mobile, AL.; five grandchildren, Jarred Cooper, Leah Sudduth, both of Lucedale, Bryan Cooper, Ashley Cooper, both of Semmes, AL and Brittany Cooper of Mobile, AL.; and special friend, companion and care taker James K. Henderson of Lucedale.
She was preceded in death by her husband M. E. "Chuck" Cooper.
Pallbearers were Gerald Bryant, Billy Cranford, Tony Caldwell, Clayton Allen, Garland Dunnam and Don Smith.
Interment was held in the Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile, AL with Rev. Bud Parker, Rev. John Henry and Rev. Millard Howell officiating the services.
