Stan was born Dec. 29, 1924, in Indiahoma, Okla. He was the son of Cyril Mathias Peters and Esther Birkhead Jensen.
Stan proudly served his country as a medic during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He returned to the Springdale area to run the Jensen family farm. He later became a plumber in the Mini-Cassia area.
He met and married the love of his life, "Sugar Babe" Lucille Combs. Together, they created a lovely home in Heyburn for all of their families to enjoy.
Stan is survived by his son, Stanley Michael Peters; stepsons, Leonard Combs and Delbert Combs; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Colleen Kerbs; one brother, Dick Jensen; and many nieces and nephews.
Stan was preceded in death by many family members who he loved and always missed.
After Lucille's death, he was taken care of by his loving nieces, Shelley Jensen Jones, Sheila Jensen Antone, and their families. He brought love and joy into their lives and we will all miss the sparkle in his eyes and his dimples when he smiled.
The family would like to thank Taunya Lyons and Brandi Boston who gave Stan great care and assistance. They were true angels.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 24, at Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley, with military rites provided by the Mini-Cassia Veterans Organization.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home and Crematory Service of Burley.
