Our beloved Steven Starkey Jr., 18, of New York Ave. (Randolph Terrace), Salem, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, April 5, 2010.

He was born on June 5, 1991, in Clarksburg, a son of Gary White II and Rebecca Kearns, Salem.

Surviving are his biological father, Steven Starkey Sr., West Milford; his fianc/e, Kayla Lloyd; one daughter, Angel Marie Starkey; one brother, Joshua Starkey, Salem; one sister, Tasha White, Salem; maternal grandparents, Rosa and Roger Davis, Jane Lew, David and Beatrice Kearns, Salem; paternal grandparents, Sandy and Bob Sayers, West Milford, Gary and Patty White, Burlington; paternal grandmother, Linda Starkey, West Union; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. He had a very special gift in drawing. He was a 2009 graduate of Liberty High School. Steven attended Hurst Chapel. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem, on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Bender presiding. Interment will follow in the K of P Memorial Park, Salem.
