Their first child, William Harvey, was born on Christmas Day, 1875 and died 16 January 1876. Their second child, Dorothy Elizabeth, was born 31 December 1884. Sometime after the birth of Dorothy, the family moved to Larimer County, Colorado where Dorah was born on 22 September 1888. She lived only ten months, dying on 22 June 1889. Norah was born 15 September 1889. Mary Susan died 12 October 1879 and Norah died 26 days later on 7 November 1889.
