Willis G. Lape
Willis G. Lape died at his home here on Monday morning. He was 78 years old.
Mr. Lape was born July 5, 1871, in East Worcester, son of Sylvester and Lana (Belden) Lape. On November 1, 1905, he maried Hattie Sitts. he was a member of the Baptist church and was a dairy farmer.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Vaughn of edmeston; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Redmond, Burlington Flats; several grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith, Cobleskill, and Miss Lillian Lape, Worcester; two brothers, Richard of Cobleskill and Asa of Albany.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Houk Funeral home here. The Rev. maurice STevenson of Burlington Baptist Church will officiate with burial to take place in the Burlington Flats cemetery.
