JACKSON, Jason J. "Ward," 30, of New Cumberland, passed away, January 3, 2013, at home with his family by his side.

He was born in Weirton, W.Va., the son of Roy J. Ward I and Connie R. Ward.

Jason lived his entire life here. He graduated from Weir High School in 2003 with a special diploma, and then went on to go to Hancock County Opportunity Center.

Jason loved his family and his family loved him so very much.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Ward; maternal grandmother, Frances Jackson; and paternal grandparents, Roy and Bernice Ward.

He is also survived by a sister, Crystal Eaddy of Texas; two brothers, Roy J. (Puffy) Ward II of New Cumberland and David (Kim) Ward of Texas; maternal grandfather, Raymond Jackson of Wellsville; nieces, Britny Smith, Danielle Eaddy, Rylee and Chloe Stevens; a nephew, Ryan Eaddy; a great niece Lilah Marie; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell with funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013.

Burial will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell, W.Va.
