DELPHI - Everett E. Scott, 82, of Rt. 1, Delphi, died at the Caylor-Nickel Clinic in Bluffton at 2 p.m. Monday.
A retired farmer, he was born July 23,1886, in Jefferson Township His marriage Feb. 12, 1919, was to Anna May Newell, who survives.
He spent his life in this community. Survivors besides the widow include one son, Ernest of Rt. 1 Delphi, and a daughter, Mrs. Aaron Randle of Rt. 2, Delphi; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Sagers of Rt. 1, Delphi; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jackson
Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Jenkins will officiate and
burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery north of Delphi.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
