NORA HEALY PASSES
Died, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Willis Crowley in this city, just before midnight of Wednesday, Feb. 14th, Nora Francis Healy, aged 33 years, 3 months and 9 days. More sad is her passing made, because it was just a week before that she brought into this world a baby girl. For several days, the mother was apparently normal and making a good recovery, then fate entered, reversed the decision and called in the Angels of death. When God Almighty so wills, then it must be so, and despite the best efforts of medical attendance, Nora Francis Healy departed this earth, to life ever lasting.
Nora Francis Barnes was a native of Missouri state; she came to this vicinity eight years ago and two years later married Wm. Healy. To this union two children were born. A boy who is now several years old, and the baby girl born a week ago.
Mrs. Healy was a member of Clematis lodge of Rebakahs, and was loved by all her sisters.
The funeral will be held from the Federated church at 2 o'clock this afternoon and interment will be had in the I. O. O. F. cemetery*.
The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Wm. Healy and the two children; her father, Chas. H. Barnes of Yakima; two brothers, Ora Barnes of Yakima and Wesley Barnes of this city; three sisters, Mrs. McGruder [sic], of Hammer; Mrs. Willis Crowley of this city and Mrs. Claude McGromery [sic] of Kennewick.
*Note: Nora's remains were re-interred at Mountain View Cemetery on May 3, 1943.
