Julie Mary Hogan died Wednesday at a local hospital after a long illness. She was a self-employed photographer and had her own studio in Manhatten, New York, for 11 years.
Ms. Hogan also worked at the Lamb's Club in New York for 8 years.
Memorial services will be at 1pm Saturday at Shrine of Rest Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd.
Ms. Hogan was born in the Bronx, New York. She is survived by her mother, Nellie (Maloney) Hogan of New Rochelle, New York. Ms. Hogan was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Peter Hogan. She had lived in Colorado Springs since 1976.
Ms. Hogan studied at the New York Institute of Photography. In addition to her mother, Ms. Hogan is also survived by many cousins.
