LANETT -- Mr. Michael Widner, 25, of Lanett died Friday, Sept. 28, 2001 in Lanett.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Billy McCollough officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Widner is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. James Widner of Lanett; his brother, Jamie Allen Widner of Lanett; his sister, Cristy Gail Mims of Valley; his maternal grandparents, Everett and Evelyn Yates of Lanett; his paternal grandparents, Mattie Lynn Widner of Lanett and Luther Lynn of Waycross, Ga.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
Born Oct. 29, 1975 in Langdale, Mr. Widner was an employee of WestPoint Stevens Fairview Mill.
